Jo Riley
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jo joined Opzeeland in March 2021, following the acquisition of the business by Gould Holdings Limited. Jo previously headed up ANZ’s Wellington Commercial and Agri business and brings wide-ranging leadership skills and experience to Opzeeland - where he works closely with the board, staff and customers to lead the company in its ongoing quest to continue delivering quality transport, warehousing and logistics solutions to its nationwide customer base built up over its proud 70-year history. Jo has a BA from Otago and an MBA (Distinction) from Victoria University. When not busy with his three teenage boys Jo loves getting into the great outdoors - ideally with surf board, mountain bike or skis on the roof, and a good craft beer in the chilly bin.

Paul Bryden
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
After 35 years of Big 4 public accounting experience, Paul joined Opzeeland in November 2021. He brings a range of finance experience to the role of CFO, and has worked closely with CEO’s, Boards and operational staff across many industries. Paul has always liked working with businesses where family values and customer service form the basis of their success. He is enjoying learning about the transport industry and looks forward to applying his experience to further enhance the company’s already proud reputation. Outside of work, Paul loves being involved with whatever his 3 children (now in their early 20’s) are up to, a round of golf with a couple of mates, or travelling to new places.

Scott Kaynes
GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS
Scott came to Opzeeland in 1991 after many years' experience in the transport industry. He started as a driver and has moved up through the roles of South Island Operations Supervisor, Transport Operations Manager, and in 2022 moved into his current role of General Manager Operations. Scott has a vast knowledge of our customers operations and needs and strives to provide them with the ‘Opzeeland' quality service they have grown to expect. Outside work Scott's interests are his family and sports and living on a lifestyle block means there is always work to do at the weekends.

Richard Chambers
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Richard started his Opzeeland journey fresh out of school in 1995 in our warehouse team. In 1998 he became a driver, first in the metro team and then in the South Island linehaul team. In 2002 Richard moved into the operations office where he covered various supervisor roles. In 2005 Richard had a change in career, moving to the NZ Police, where over the next 16-years he undertook various roles and progressed up through the ranks to Senior Sergeant. In 2022 he came home to Opzeeland as Inter-Island Supervisor, before starting his current role, Head of Operations. Richard utilises this wide-ranging experience to ensure we maintain and grow Opzeeland’s well-earned reputation for efficient, reliable logistics services that fit our customers’ changing needs. Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife Donna and their two teenage children. He can also be found at local venues playing the drums in legendary Christchurch cover band Old Skool.

Craig Potter
DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS MANAGER
In 2012 Craig moved to New Zealand from the United Kingdom, where he had over 11 years' experience in the warehousing and transport industries. On arriving in New Zealand he worked for Fonterra, managing their Distribution Centres in Hamilton. Craig joined Opzeeland in 2014 as the Distribution Operations Manager where he manages the day to day running of the warehouse team on-site, manages customer relationships and works closely with the Opzeeland team to ensure that everything is done to be the best at what they do. Outside of work Craig enjoys playing football and golf, enjoys travelling and with his wife Camilla and family, and enjoys the amazing lifestyle that New Zealand offers.

Geoff Summerhayes
TRANSPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER
Geoff has always loved the transport industry, and spent his entire working career in it. This began in the 1990s, where he established his transport credentials through various and wide-ranging roles in his father’s trucking firm, McNally Transport. In September 2003 Geoff joined Opzeeland, where he started as a metro driver, before moving onto South Island then North Island line-haul driver roles. In September 2019 Geoff became North Island dispatcher for Opzeeland, and in 2022 moved into his current job as Transport Manager. In this role, drawing on his 30-plus years of experience, Geoff works closely with customers and the dispatch team to provide that special Opzeeland high quality end-to-end service that the company is famous for. In his spare time Geoff loves nothing better than getting back out on the road with caravan in tow exploring our fantastic country.

Leeanne Anderson
HR & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Transport seems to be in Leeanne's blood, she grew up around transport and trucks, and all her employment has had an involvement in the industry. Leeanne has been with Opzeeland since 2004 in various roles and is now part of the senior leadership team as the Human Resources and Administration Manager. In her spare time Leeanne enjoys the outdoors, travelling and spending time with family.
